Responsible Driver Program (RDP) and Ignition Interlock Program (IIP)

If you receive any alcohol related driving prohibitions, you may receive a letter advising that you must participate in the Responsible Driving Program and possibly the Ignition Interlock Program.

If you receive a 90 day Driving Prohibition, you will receive this notice. The program however, is discretionary, and if done in a timely manner the lawyers at the Traffic Ticket Office can assist you in avoiding this requirement. It is not recommended that you make your own submissions to RoadSafetyBC. The lawyers at the Traffic Ticket Office know the policies and guidelines, and what it takes to make proper submissions to RoadSafetyBC to avoid these requirements.

We have been very successful in avoiding this for the vast majority of our clients. If you receive a notice that you must participate in either of these programs, call us immediately for a free consultation.
