The Graduated Licensing Program is the introductory driver’s licence program in British Columbia. It consists of places restrictions on drivers for their first three years of driving. The first year involves significant restrictions and the driver must display an “L” decal on the back of their vehicle. The next two years has fewer restrictions and the driver must display an “N” decal on the back of their vehicle.

We regularly see people that have been driving for many years but are still in this program due to not disputing their Traffic Tickets. Drivers in this program are under very close scrutiny, and even one ticket can cause a short driving prohibition, which will cause them to start the two years over again before becoming eligible for a Class 5 (regular) driver’s licence.

It is of the utmost importance to contact us if you have received any sort of Traffic Ticket or Criminal Charge related to driving if you are close to qualifying to apply for a Class 5 licence.

If you are in this situation, call us immediately for a free consultation. Get the facts and protect your licence.
